Finding Our Eternal Home: A Prayer of Salvation - Romans 10:9

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9

My kids love watching the movies that my husband and I watched when we were growing up. Remember the part in The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy clicks her heels together and repeats the line, "There's no place like home"? That scene makes me think of our life in Christ. God could have picked anyone, anywhere on this majestic planet to live, but He chose you. Your Heavenly Father chose YOU and will continue to choose you, every. single. time!

If you are ready to begin a relationship with Christ or are having doubts as to whether or not you have asked Him into your heart in the past, I invite you to pray this prayer and fully commit to knowing and serving Him!

Jesus,

I come to you and acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins.

I need your forgiveness.

I believe that you shed your precious blood for me and died for my sins,and I want to turn from my sin.

Right now, I confess you as the Lord of my life, and I believe that God raised you from the dead. This very moment I accept you as my personal Savior, and I know that right now, I am saved.

Thank you, Jesus, for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins.

Lord Jesus, change my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.
