Each devotion is designed to integrate God's Word into your everyday life. It begins with a carefully chosen scripture and a personal story that passes on to you the lessons I've learned from the Lord.
The "Perspectives Into Practice" segment invites you to engage actively, ponder deeply, and inspires you to move beyond merely reading—to living out your faith through concrete actions.
The "Take Your Time" journaling segment, concluding each day's reading, serves to nurture your personal development and foster a closer communication with God.
I strongly encourage you to read each devotion with your Bible open. Each day I highlight a key verse. As you begin reading, you will see a snapshot from my life, whether from personal experience, watching my kids and husband, or others' experiences. I share teachings that I feel called to share with you. These include scripture, supporting verses, and how to apply this to your life.
This section is where you get to do the work. It's is a place for you to put the Biblical perspective referenced in the devotion into practice in your life. I wrote each of these as a challenge because I find it much harder to turn down a challenge. It may be a prayer to pray, a journal entry to write, or a task to put into action. Whatever it is, my prayer is that you take it seriously and take the challenge.
Take your time, talk to your Heavenly Father. Write down what He is speaking to you, your thoughts and prayers on paper. Journaling my prayers and God's work in my life I get to see how much has changed. Seeing these differences gives me the confidence not to feel like I am stuck because change is progress!
Through these devotionals, I pray that you will find something you need. I pray that the Lord works in and through you as you daily apply the Scriptures and talk to your Heavenly Father about all.the.things.
Over the next 100 days, my sincere hope and prayer for you is that through your time in the Word, talking to the Lord, and applying what He tells us in His Word, you will know who you are and whose you are and walk in that confidence!
Sister! Know that you are loved! I have prayed for you and continue to pray for you, and I'm expectant for God to do a mighty work in your life! Will you let Him?
